Catchpenny Kids has been called one of Denver's Best children's theatre companies! We offer a variety of programming geared toward any skill level and schedule.

From Fall, Winter, Spring classes, Denver School of the Arts Preparation, and other Auditions, and Personal Coaching Classes to Intensive Summer Programs, we believe in empowering our students to become the best artists that they can be.

We always get asked what makes us differet or special from other companies. While we have created our own unique touches on many aspects of our programs, there are many 'un-measureable' things that make us stand out from the pack.

• We cap our show sizes!! - Other companies claim small instructor to student ratios. What they don't tell you is that they will cast their shows with more than 50 students! Instead of casting our campers as trees, and lamp-posts, we believe everyone deserves to showcase their work. Unless a show calls for a larger cast, we keep our numbers below 30 students for every show

• Our Directors Return Annually - While it is common for other kids theatre companies to have high turnover rates, Catchpenny is renowned for keeping a core cast of directors in place. Summer after summer, Catchpenny Campers can look forward to working with the directors that they love and trust!

• We boast a 90% Return Rate - Just as with our directors, our campers have found Catchpenny worthy to call home. More than 90% of our students return every summer to relive their catchpenny experiences! This has created a unique, and powerful sense of community for Catchpenny and our families.

• Catchpenny's Community Rocks! -Catchpenny's community is unique in many aspects. We have welcomed kids to our camps from as far north as Westminster and Ft. Collins to as far south as Littleton and Parker. Catchpenny has proven to be a special community in the fact that it has brought families from all around the metro area together to be part of something lifechanging for children. Culturally speaking, Catchpenny's range of diversity captures families from all corners of the globe. We work with families from India, Iran, Russia, Australia, and even Peru!!

• We Teach Leadership Skills! - The reason so many Catchpenny Students go to Denver School of the Arts, have performed in Denver Center Shows like Richard III, and in Arvada Center Shows like Evita is because of our unique leadership training. Throughout all of Cathpenny's programming we insert leadership skills that have had a measurable effect on our students. In fact, our leadership extras have had such a profound effect on our students and their families, some Denver based businesses are modeling workshops based on our model!
